Paris Saint-Germain have denied any interest in luring Jose Mourinho away from Manchester United.
The Ligue 1 leaders are said to be unhappy with their current boss Unai Emery and will look to replace him at the end of the season, unless he is able to guide the team to victory in the Champions League.
Mourinho, whose current contract with United expires in June 2019, is said to be PSG’s top choice to succeed Emery.
But a spokesman for PSG told the BBC on Thursday that the French club have ‘no interest’ in Mourinho.
Last month, Mourinho sparked rumours about a potential switch to PSG by claiming that the club are building ‘something special’.
‘The other day my son who lives in London went to Paris and not to Manchester to watch the match,’ Mourinho said in an interview with Telefoot.
‘Because at the moment in Paris there is something special. Magic, quality, youth, it’s fantastic.’
