Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has spoken out amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.
Ozil is out of contract in north London next summer and it’s understood Jose Mourinho is determined to bring the 29-year-old midfielder to Old Trafford before the 2018/19 campaign.
Reports suggest Arsenal will listen to offers of £30million for Ozil in the new year but the German World Cup winner has rubbished the recent transfer rumours.
‘I want to perform here and have fun here.
‘I’m enjoying my time here but I can’t say what will happen in the future.’
Ozil was speaking ahead of Germany’s clashes with England and France during the international break…
Ozil insists he has ignored recent criticism and believes Arsene Wenger’s opinion is the only one that matters.
‘I generally don’t assess my own games. My objective is to bring my performance onto the pitch and help the team. So I let the others talk,’ he said.
‘It’s important for me to have fun on the field and be successful.
