Belgium manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he has not spoken to Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho regarding Marouane Fellaini’s condition.
It was claimed that the midfielder had sprained his knee during the national side’s 4-3 triumph over Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday.
However, Martinez has since confirmed that Fellaini suffered knee ligament damage. The injury is likely to keep him out of action for a lengthy spell, although, an official timeline for recovery has not been set.
The Belgium boss has claimed that he has not been in contact with Mourinho regarding the situation.
“I have not had any communication with Jose Mourinho on the subject of Marouane,” The Mirror quotes Martinez as saying.
Fellaini has made seven appearances for United in all competitions this season, scoring four goals in the process.

Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has revealed that striker Romelu Lukaku is available for the World Cup qualifier with Cyprus.
