5. Diego Costa hails Chelsea legend Didier Drogba

Diego Costa has claimed he was learning from Chelsea legend Didier Drogba even before he joined the Stamford Bridge outfit.

“I have always seen Drogba as the example to follow in terms of a centre-forward,” Costa told Chelsea TV.
“He was strong and scored loads of goals and he was a quality player.’’
“Just watching him train helped me. Just seeing him, I was amazed.’’

Drogba won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League with Chelsea.

Romelu Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola has insisted his client will sign a new deal at Everton amid Chelsea interest, with talks currently ongoing.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for their former player, who left the Blues for £28million in 2014, but Raiola has said they would be wasting their time with a bid.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Raiola said: “There are no problems right now between the player and the club. Talks are ongoing. He will sign.”
The Belgium International took his Premier League tally to 16 goals in 23 games this season with four goals against Bournemouth.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has claimed that the Premier League title race is not yet over despite his side’s leading nine-point lead at the top of the table.
The Blues have picked up 49 points from the last 54 on offer to storm ahead of the chasing pack.
“Now we are on top of the table, but this league is very tough. For me now it’s important to continue to push and to exploit this momentum,” he told BBC Sport.
“If you send the right signal for us and not for the other opponents, it’s very important.”
Chelsea will look to continue their relentless form when they face Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has conceded that Chelsea already have one hand on the Premier League trophy this season.
The Blues have won 16 and lost just one of their last 18 matches in the Premier League to lead by nine points at the top of the table.
While Manchester United currently sit 14 points behind the West London club in sixth.

Frank Lampard has rejoined Chelsea to complete his coaching badges as he decides on his next move in football, which could include becoming a manager.
The Stamford Bridge legend retired from football at the end of last month and is now weighing up his options in terms of coaching.
The midfielder rejected several offers to carry on playing, most notably from Swansea, and will now pursue his coaching badges at Chelsea.
He made made 649 appearances for Chelsea and won 106 England caps in his playing time.
The former England International won three Premier League titles, the Champions League, four FA Cups, two League Cups and the Europa League with Chelsea.
Lampard is working on his B Licence, before he can move onto the UEFA A or Pro Licence.
