European Champions Real Madrid has been relegated to the 3rd position in the Money League despite their successful year in Europe. However most of their exploits in the last part of 2016 will be factored in 2017 list and that will obviously push them back to the position they have held for 11 years.

2. Barcelona- € 620.2 Million

FC Barcelona v RC Deportivo La Coruna - La Liga
Catalan giants Barcelona can celebrate this while it lasts because it will obviously not last long given the success their rivals saw at the end of 2016. They are ahead of them this year and the numbers are there to show. They won La Liga and Kings Cup last season and when you add Camp Nou collections and shirt deals you can see why they are ahead.

1. Manchester United- € 689 Million
