January transfer window is now open. Clubs are preparing bids for the identified targets and others are considering which players to offload. So, today let us take a closer look at who is most likely to shipped out in January;
8. Bastian Schweinsteiger- Manchester United
The last six Months have been hot and cold for German World Cup winner Bastian Shweinsteiger. He got married to his long time lover Tennis Star Ana Ivanovic but the honeymoon has been destroyed by Jose Mourinho. First, he said the former Bayern Munich star is not in his plans and then four months later in November he woke up one day and called him back in the team.
This is total disrespect for a player who still has so much to offer. He is only 32 years, in Italy he is still a very young man especially if you talk to AS Roma legend Totti who is still playing at the age of 39 years.
7. Vincent Kompany- Manchester City
Pep Guardiola allowed number one keeper Joe Hart to leave the club on loan but did not have a problem allowing injury ravaged Captain Vincent Kompany to stay on for more six months.
The Belgian is done, if he is not injured, the Coach says he asked to be allowed to rest after playing for 45 minutes. We all know how good the big defender was especially during Roberto Mancini reign but we can all agree he needs a move like Abou Diaby and Darren Fletcher to pro-long his career.
6. Oscar- Chelsea
Shanghai SIPG star Oscar was the most unused substitution in the last couple of months at Chelsea. He was that player in the team that every Coach liked but they still didn’t want to play him. He doesn’t have the physique to die for but he works very hard on the pitch.
He therefore decided to link up with former Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas who is currently coaching Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.
5. Lucas Perez- Arsenal
Arsene Wenger brought in Lucas Perez to help Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez to score goals but he has only played 7 matches in the league scoring 1 goal. However, he has netted five times in 4 Cup matches but he needs to play regularly somewhere else. When the coach who signed you doesn’t give you time to play at the age of 28 years, a switch is needed.
4. Morgan Schneiderlin- Manchester United to Everton
Morgan Schneiderlin finally made a much needed permanent switch to Everton to work with former boss Ronald Koeman to try and revive his career.
3. John Obi Mikel- Chelsea to China
Chelsea punished Nigerian International John Obi Mikel for refusing to listen to them in regard to participating in Rio 2016 Olympics. They did not want him to participate but a chance to win a gold medal for the Super Eagles was too much to turn down.
He recently left the Club to move to Chinese Super League and Blues fans will have no bad blood after 10 years of great service.
2. Memphis Depay- Manchester United
Dutch sensation Memphis Depay joined Manchester United in the summer of 2015 after a successful spell with PSV in Holland. He was full of confidence perhaps too much for a player of his age. He even asked the then boss Louis Van Gaal to give him the iconic shirt number seven. He is now set to complete a permanent move to French giants Lyon.
1. Cesc Fabregas- Chelsea
Chelsea new boss Antonio Conte style of play has pushed Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas out of the first team and he has no option but to leave in January to get play time. AS Roma, AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly preparing bids for the former Barcelona and Arsenal man.
