Braun Strowman made a dramatic return to Raw to wreak havoc on the Miztourage and avenge his TLC beatdown.
As The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel were preparing to make their exit they found a garbage truck blocking the exit of their limo.
And who should emerge from said garbage truck but the Monster Among Men, who laid waste to The Miz and his boys in a brutal attack.
It was a night of returns in Baltimore, with Nia Jax also back in action as she booked her place in the Raw women's team for their inter-brand match against the Smackdown crew at Survivor Series.
Alicia Fox was originally scheduled to take on Jax but insisted she had greater concerns to deal with as part of her role as the Raw captain for the November 19 pay-per-view.
As a result, Bayley was thrust into the match and although the Hugger battled hard to compete, she was eventually overwhelmed as Jax became the second name on the Raw team sheet.
Plans for Survivor Series dominated elsewhere on the show, with commissioner Stephanie McMahon taking general manager Kurt Angle to task for failing to protect the Raw roster last week.
Angle was holding the reins last week when the Smackdown crew invaded Raw and ran riot backstage, with Shane McMahon declaring the red brand "under siege".

Stephanie scolded Angle for his part in the incident, stating her view that it was a direct attack on her by her brother Shane, and said The Olympic Hero had embarrassed himself and the entire brand.
As a result, she made Angle the captain of the Raw team for Survivor Series as an opportunity to redeem himself to the management.
So Angle will once again be returning to the ring - but who will he select to join him in the battle for brand supremacy against the Smackdown invaders?
