Survivor Series season is officially upon us and it seems that the SmackDown roster decided to strike first as they shocked the WWE Universe by launching an attack on the company's flagship show on Monday night.
It is now a case of when and not if the Raw roster will respond to their blue brand rivals and with just over three weeks to go until the final dual brand pay-per-view of the year.
It has been an eventful week, but here are the superstars who have stood out when it mattered.
Good Week
Alicia Fox (Raw)
Sasha Bank clashes with Bayley and Alicia Fox for the right to lead the Team Red women in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match
Former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox became the captain of the Raw women's team at Survivor Series when she was able to defeat two other women on Monday night to claim the captaincy.
Alicia has been overlooked in the Women's Division for a number of years, but it seems that her new crazy persona is finally allowing her to turn heads.
Alicia wasn't the first pick when it came to the woman who could lead the Raw team to victory, especially with Sasha Banks and Bayley both also part of the match, that being said, this could be the beginning of big things for the veteran after years of lurking in the shadows.
Shane McMahon (SmackDown)
SmackDown Live didn't have a pay-per-view event this week, but it was the blue brand that stole all of the headlines when they followed their commissioner into Monday night Raw and decided to attack first and ask questions later.
SmackDown General Manager Shane McMahon and Team Blue shock Raw General Manager Kurt Angle and the entire Raw looker room with a brand-encompassing onslaught
Shane McMahon planned the attack on Raw as he decided that he would draw first blood in the build-up to Survivor Series, but he won't have a lot of time to gloat.
The Tuesday night show was already on their guard awaiting Raw's response, but it seems that Kurt Angle wants to play the long game and could well extract his revenge when Shane and SmackDown Live least expect it.
Nikki Cross (NXT)
The unhinged Nikki Cross was denied a place in the fatal four-way match for the vacant NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover: War Games when she was attacked by Taynara Conti two weeks ago.
Nikki received her second chance this week on NXT and as well as being able to extract revenge on Conti by eliminating her from the battle royal, she was able to outlast all of the other women and win the match.
Nikki Cross won a 17-Superstar NXT women’s championship qualifying battle royal
Cross became the final name added to the match alongside Kairi Sane, Peyton Royce and Ember Moon in what could well be a show-stealing match in three weeks' time.

Bad Week
Kurt Angle (RAW)
The week started off so well for Kurt Angle when he stepped into Roman Reigns' vacant shoes and helped The Shield to overcome the odds in their handicap match at TLC on Sunday night, but it seemed that his luck didn't follow through to onto Raw.

Angle seemingly decided to keep AJ Styles for an extra night and in doing this caused something of a rift between himself and Shane McMahon.
The Olympic gold medallist wasn't prepared for the assault that McMahon ordered on Raw following their conversation backstage and considering Raw is seen as WWE's flagship show, it was left embarrassed and humiliated by SmackDown because their General Manager wasn't prepared for an attack of this magnitude.
Sami Zayn (SmackDown Live)
Randy Orton in action against Sami Zayn on WWE Smackdown
Sami Zayn unveiled a cocky and much more self-obsessed character on SmackDown Live this week and his mouth managed to talk him into a match against Randy Orton for a spot on the SmackDown Survivor Series team. Even with the help of Kevin Owens at ringside, Zayn was still unable to pin The Viper and lost his chance to be part of the event.
Randy Orton takes on Sami Zayn to see who would become the first official member of the SmackDown Men’s Survivor Series team
His partner Kevin Owens gets his chance to qualify for the team in a match against Shinsuke Nakamura next week, but it is unknown what part Zayn will play now since he just lost his golden ticket to the show and there are only three episodes of SmackDown left now for him to pick up a match at the event.
Roderick Strong (NXT)
Roderick Strong went one on one with Andrade 'Cien' Almas this week on NXT and it was supposed to be a match that proved that Strong deserved another shot at the NXT Championship.
Andrade 'Cien' Almas defeated Roderick Strong on NXT
Sadly it didn't work out that way and instead interference from Zelina Vega helped Almas become the man sending a message to the champion ahead of NXT Takeover: War Games.
Strong was then approached by The Undisputed Era following his loss and Adam Cole offered Strong his armband and a chance to be part of the group once again.
Incredibly, Strong took the armband this time and could well be thinking about joining the group after all of his recent disappointment on NXT
