FIFA congratulates Nigeria for qualifying for the World Cup

- FIFA have sent their good wishes to Nigeria after beating Zambia on Saturday, October 7 to qualify for the 2018 World Cup
- The Super Eagles however became the first African nation that qualified for the 2018 soccer fiesta in Russia
- Chelsea and Arsenal who are Premier League clubs also felicitated with the Super Eagles of Nigeria
World football governing body (FIFA) have felicitated with the Super Eagles of Nigeria after qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Nigeria on Saturday, October 7, became the first African nation to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after beating visiting Zambia 1-0 in Uyo.
Arsenal striker Alex Iwobi was the hero for the Super Eagles in Uyo as his second international goal gave Nigeria the 2018 World Cup ticket.

The Super Eagles are the first African side to reach 🇷🇺Russia! 
Premier League club Arsenal were also proud of their player Alex Iwobi after scoring against Zambia, and they have also congratulated the Super Eagles.
Chelsea who are the reigning Premier League champions have also felicitated with the Super Eagles of Nigeria for their 2018 World Cup qualification.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported of how Alex Iwobi scored his second international goal for Nigeria to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
