Premier League assist league has taken a totally different shape this season. Last season the likes of Mesut Ozil were ruling the charts. However, It is much tighter this season. London has been dethroned by Manchester and New entrants like Wilfried Zaha and Eriksen are also in the list.
7. Wayne Rooney- 5 assists (7 other players)
Manchester United Captain Wayne Rooney did what many strikers before him failed to do. He shattered Sir Bobby Charlton 40-year-old record. He curved a historic free-kick to level the score in the 94th minute of injury time to create history. He has been great for the club in the last 12 years and at 31 there will many more great moments ahead.
The England Skipper has also assisted 5 more goals so far this season and you guess is right, Zlatan has scored four of them.

6. Nemanja Matic- 6 assists
Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering raiding his former Club Chelsea. He only wants the Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic. The midfielder has assisted the highest number of goals (6) in the team. Diego Costa got three of them while Hazard got the other two. One went to Pedro.
Cesc Fabregas may not be playing every game at Stamford Bridge but he also comes in with 6 assists. Other players with six assists include Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace.
5. Adam Lallana- 7 assists
Liverpool new boss Jurgen Klopp has done many things for the Reds since he joined them. One notable change must be the resurgence of one Adam Lallana. He has been great so far this season. He has assisted 7 goals so far this season and he will certainly do better as the season progress.
4. Alexis Sanchez- 8 assists
Arsenal saviour is none other than Alexis Sanchez. He grabbed a double against Hull City last weekend to give the Gunners all three points in a tough encounter. He is also doing great when it comes to assists. He has assisted 8 goals so far this season.
Matthew Phillips of West Brom also has eight assists to his name. The West Midlands side is enjoying a great season. They are 8th in the table with 37 points. They are safe this season.
3. Gylfi Sigurdsson- 8 assists
Swansea FC is back in back to life thanks to new boss Paul Clement. They have now won three matches on the bounce. They are no more relegation candidates after only three weeks. Gylfi Sigurdsson has played a big part in their revival with 8 assists.
2. Christian Eriksen- 8 assists
Tottenham Hotspurs attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has been cracking the assists for fun this season. Dele Alli has been scoring most of them. We all can’t forget his double assist against Chelsea few weeks ago. He now has eight assists to his name.
1. Kevin de Bruyne- 9 assists
Mesut Ozil was the king of assists last season but this season we have a new master by the name of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City. He has assisted 9 goals so far this season and the biggest beneficiaries are Aguero and Sterling.
