Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed that he wants to see his fellow Italian Antonio Conte wins the Premier League title with current leaders Chelsea this season.
Ranieri, who led Leicester to the English title for the first time in their history, was inducted into the Italian Football FIGC Hall of Fame on Tuesday following following his remarkable masterminding of Leicester City’s title success last season.
‘‘As former Chelsea coach and as an Italian supporter, I hope that Conte can achieve the goal,’’ the Foxes boss said.
‘‘He has shown that the Italian school of coaches is valid more than ever.’’
Leicester finished 31 points ahead of Chelsea last season, but are now 31 points behind the Blues after a reversal of fortunes this year.
