It’s not a common thing for a football player shift from Liverpool to play for Manchester United and vice versa. Only a small number of footballers have ever done it and such has been the great and fierce rivalry that has developed between the two great clubs over the last 50 years playing for both has been problematic since the 1960s.
But ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash at Anfield and with that small number in our mind, let’s take a look at 7 individuals who have spent time at Manchester United and Liverpool in their careers.

Wootton began his career with Liverpool at the age of 13 in 2004, before joining Manchester United in 2007 and has impressed in the U18′s and Reserve teams, making his way through the youth system there before finally making it to the first-team in 2010; however, he was unable to get regular first-team football there and went out on loan to different clubs before signing for Leeds United in 2013.
