Manchester United ace Ashley Young could be set for a suspension after he was seen elbowing Southampton’s Dusan Tadic.
Young has had an impressive campaign with the Red Devils, but Jose Mourinho will no doubt be livid if the 32-year-old full-back is handed a ban after the incident at Old Trafford.
Rivals fans immediately began reporting the Englishman to the FA and, with United facing Everton and Derby in the next six days, Mourinho may be forced to find a replacement.
The incident happened in the 51st minute of the Old Trafford clash, with the scoreline at 0-0 as United were defending a corner.
Young escaped without being shown a yellow card by referee Craig Pawson, but could still face retrospective punishment from the FA.
Young has made 20 appearances in all competitions this term and scored a memorable double in the side’s 4-2 defeat of Watford at the end of November.
