Thieves rob Phil Jones in Man United training ground


Manchester United seem to have a dressing room thief or thieves after police had to be called in when designer jewellery belonging to Phil Jones went missing.
According to the Sun, the 24, bought the expensive diamond earings jewellery for his Wag Kaya Hall.

A source said: “Officers visited the training ground last week and spoke to several workers there as part of the investigation. They have also examined CCTV and computer records.
“Phil bought the earrings and put them in his locker, but he’s convinced someone has taken them and has reported the matter.
“It’s not just the players who have access to the dressing room, and like everyone workplace, occasionally things do go missing.”

The £60million Aon training complex boasts 12 grass pitches and two artificial ones and is used by the first team, the academy and youth teams.
The main building also houses a gym, indoor running tracks, squash and basketball courts, a 25-metre swimming pool, underwater treadmills and yoga rooms.

This is not the first time expensive things have been stolen from the AON training center.
Earlier this season Marcus Rashford, 19, called in cops after his £20,000 Rolex watch was stolen from a trampolining centre.
Three men were later arrested on suspicion of theft, but charges were dropped after Rashford accepted their apology.
According to Freedom of Information data, Gtr Manchester Police were called to United’s training ground 13 times between June 2009 and June 2014.
