Ian Wright: I saw Arsene Wenger last night and I think he's leaving Arsenal in the summer

ARSENE WENGER has given his clearest indication yet that his two decades in charge at Arsenal are drawing to a close.

In a heart-to-heart with Ian Wright, one of the English players he has known the longest, he admitted that “it’s coming to an end”.
Wright was at the club when the Frenchman was plucked from obscurity to become the Arsenal manager in 1996, winning the double in his first full season in charge and going on to create a team of Invincibles.
But recent poor results have had fans calling for his head, and Wright says that Arsene Wenger, 67, let slip on Thursday night that his spell at the helm of the north London club was coming to an end.

Wenger’s contract expires at the end of the season and while the club have made no secret that they want him to carry on at the helm, he has always made it clear that he will reserve his decision until the end of the season when he can assess whether he truly believes that the fans still want him there.
After recent defeats against Chelsea and Watford, he appears to be reaching his conclusion already ahead of tomorrow's home game against Hull.
“He looked tired,” said Wright. “I’ve got to say he looked really sharp to be honest and on different things that we were talking about fully of light you could see he’s switched on, just a wonderful articulate man and a lovely guy and you just feel he looks winded, like someone’s just whapped him in the stomach, he’s lost all his wind.
“I feel if someone’s going to ask me ‘do you think he’ll go at the end of the season?’ I would say I think he will.”Arsene Wenger
