''I have progressed a lot in the last few years, I have a very sweet experience at Charlton, learning and working my way up, which I believe is why I am at Everton.
“Playing for England U-19s has also helped my career a lot. It got me exposed and there’s a whole joy that comes from playing international football, something I experienced with England,'' the striker explained.
Meanwhile, a top official in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) told NAIJ.com on Thursday, January 19, 2017, that the football authority will try and convince the player to play for the Super Eagles.
''Yes, we understand that his interest is to play for England, but we will try our best to make him see reasons he should play for Nigeria,'' the official said.
