Controversial Premier League referee Mike Dean has been demoted to the Championship after a December from hell for him. He came under serious criticism after a series of horrible decisions that has seriously influenced the results.
The biggest mistake happened when sent off Sofiane Feghouli of West Ham in a clash against Manchester United. The player had a 50-50 challenge with Phil Jones but the referee went straight to his pocket and produced a red card. The mainstream media and Social media picked up the mistake and all hell broke out.
A couple of days before that the same man had failed to send off Everton midfielder Ross Barkley after a bad tackle in the Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park.
He has now been sent to the Championship where he will start off with a match between Leeds United and Barnsley. He might get some few lessons before he comes back to the Premier League again.
