Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Inter Milan teenager Andrea Pinamonti.
The 17-year-old striker is considered one of the brightest prospects in Italian football, but his current deal at Inter is not a long-term contract.
Pinamonti has made a substitute appearance for the Nerazzurri against Sparta Prague in December’s Europa League clash at the San Siro, with Inter already eliminated.
Tottenham Hotspur are highly interested in signing Italian young striker Pinamonti, and he would be the perfect addition for Spurs at this time.
When you consider the goal-scoring form of Dele Alli and the presence of Heung-min Son, what Tottenham need right now is a young striker who is ready to step up but who is also willing to bide their time from the bench.
Spurs are said to have been in touch with Inter over a possible deal and have contacted the youngster’s representatives as well.
However, according to Metro, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is thought to be a massive fan of Pinamonti who is currently decided whether he should continue his development elsewhere.
On 8 December 2016, Pinamonti made his senior debut against Sparta Prague in the matchday six of 2016–17 UEFA Europa League group stage.
Pinamonti was prompted as a starter by coach Stefano Pioli and made a goodly-received performance, helping Inter to finish Europa League campaign with a 2–1 win.
Italian young striker Pinamonti latter dubbed his debut as “indescribable”.
Pinamonti has scored 14 goals in 13 Primavera C league appearances for Inter’s youth team this season.
